In this episode of the Your Harrogate podcast, with 4 weeks to go until the start of the football season once more, Pete Egerton catches up with Simon Weaver from Harrogate Town.
Town have begun training again and this Saturday (8th July) head to Huddersfield for a pre-season friendly.
Simon discusses some of his new signings, 8 in total so far.
He's happy with how the squad is seemingly a good balance of youth and experience and discusses the benefits of having that experience in defence.
Pete and Simon also talk about the departure of keeper Pete Jameson, who has gone on a season-long loan to Hartlepool.
Plus, the gaffer attended a league managers' meeting this week, what topics were covered?
