Your Harrogate listener scoops cash prize after guessing Secret Sound Nick’s Secret Sound has finally been won! Andy from Dishforth correctly guessed that the Secret Sound was a football being pumped up with your hands and has won £360 in cash. The prize pot started at £200 when the competition was launched in April and has grown by £10 each week since. So how does that answer match up with the clues? Clue 1: It gets nearly all of us going Clue 2: It’s on nearly all the time Clue 3: Some people take part, some people watch Clue 4: Before you play, this must be the way Here's the Secret Sound being recorded by Your Harrogate's Nick Hancock: Andy joined Nick Hancock on the breakfast show on Friday (14th July) to reveal his guess. After finding out he’d won, Andy said:
“Oh wow! It was only when I saw the fourth clue, and I looked at all four and thought actually, all four apply to football in some way. "I thought it must be something to do with the ball so that’s where my guess came from!”When asked what he’ll spend the money on, he added:
“I imagine a good chunk of it will go towards something for my grandson Cameron.”Thank you to everyone who took part in Nick’s Secret Sound and congratulations again to our winner, Andy! Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
