A free event to celebrate International Yoga Day is being held at Harewood House this weekend.
Taking place on Saturday (21st June), Harewood Holistics is welcoming yoga-enthusiasts for a day of vibrant celebrations, featuring live music and inclusive yoga sessions for all levels.
This includes the chance for visitors to enjoy a 90-minute yoga experience, an all-levels flow led by Devika Rao and a 60-minute session guided by Sabbi Martin.
The event is sold out but anyone interested is invited to sign up for the waiting list at a charge of £12.50.
Speaking on behalf of event collaborators Indian Consulate, Devika Dance Theatre, Asana Active, and Harewood Holistics, Sophie Lascelles said:
“It’s been incredible to see such strong support from the Harrogate and wider Yorkshire community for this year’s International Yoga Day celebrations at Harewood House.
“With tickets fully booked, it’s clear that yoga continues to be a powerful way to bring people together - across backgrounds, ages, and abilities - in a shared celebration of wellbeing, culture and connection.
“We’re proud to host this special event in such a beautiful setting and to reflect this year’s global theme: ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health.’”
No experience is needed, visitors are just invited to wear comfortable clothing, bring their yoga mat and be ready to move and enjoy the surroundings of Harewood House.
Tickets include free access to Harewood House's grounds for the day.
