Judges of Knaresborough feva's shop window competition have announced their first, second and third placed entrants.
Winners of Knaresborough feva shop window competition revealed Judges of Knaresborough feva's shop window competition have announced this year's winners. The competition saw businesses across the town decorate their shop fronts to celebrate feva - Knaresborough's annual arts festival. Businesses were encouraged to help turn Knaresborough pink for the event which ran from Friday 11th until Sunday 20th August. And the winner has been revealed as Claire Baxter Artist and Gallery for its crayon display. A spokesperson for Knaresborough Chamber said:
"A huge well done to everyone for their creativity this year. "This year's winner is Claire Baxter Artist and Gallery. Each crayon in her stunning display was handmade using cardboard and then hand painted. An outstanding effort."Second place was awarded to Painting Pots and third place went to River and Rose. [caption id="attachment_75844" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] Painting Pots won second place in the feva shop window competition.[/caption] Entrants were given a poster to display in their window, allowing the public to vote for their business. Votes were used to create a shortlist for the FEVA judges to assist them in choosing a winner. The spokesperson added:
