From large-scale festivals to quiet countryside patches, there’s something for everyone.
Here’s where to go pumpkin picking near Harrogate this autumn - and what to expect for dates and prices…
Stockeld Park, Wetherby
Stockeld Park’s annual Pumpkin Festival runs on weekends throughout October and daily from 25th October to 2nd November.
The patch opens from 9.30am to 5pm, with the last tractor ride leaving at 4.30pm.
Entry is included with the Halloween Adventure or Adventure Park ticket and pumpkins are sold separately at a small extra charge.

Yolk Farm, near Boroughbridge
Yolk Farm offers a smaller, family-friendly pumpkin patch experience from mid to late October.
Sessions usually run from 10am to 3pm.
Entry for pumpkin pickers is charged at £6.50, including a medium pumpkin.
Non-pickers can enter free of charge. Visitors can also enjoy a meal in the on-site café afterwards.
Ripon Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch
New for this year, Ripon’s Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch will appear in the Market Place on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October, from 10am to 2pm.
The event ties in with Ripon’s Pumpkin Trail, which begins on Saturday 25th October.
Entry is free and children completing the trail can pick a free pumpkin.

Visitors can pick from thousands of pumpkins and enjoy themed entertainment, food stalls and photo opportunities.
Piglets Adventure Farm, near York
Piglets Adventure Farm, just outside York, hosts one of the region’s biggest family pumpkin festivals.
