Police are appealing for information after an attempted burglary in Harrogate.
It happened at 3am this morning (Friday 10th July), on Hookstone Grange Way and involved a garage door being forced open.
A loud bang was heard, waking the victim. Nothing is believed to have been stolen from the garage.
A police spokesperson said:
"We’re particularly appealing for any witnesses or if any suspicious behaviour was seen or heard around the time of the incident, leading up to it or afterwards."
