Ripon and Skipton MP Sir Julian Smith is encouraging residents to vote for their favourite local pubs as part of a new awards initiative.
The new awards aim to celebrate and highlight the contribution of pubs to local communities.
Residents are invited to take part by nominating their favourite local venues and individuals in the following categories:
-
Best Pub
-
Staff Member of the Year
-
Best High Street Pub
-
Best Rural Pub
Constituents can vote once in each category by sending nominations to julian.smith.mp@parliament.uk, including their name and address to confirm eligibility within the constituency.
Nominations will remain open until 19th August 2025, with winners set to be announced later in the summer.
Voters can check if their local pub is within the Skipton and Ripon constituency by visiting the website here.
