FIFTY TWO at Rudding Park Hotel has been awarded 3 AA rosettes.
The luxury restaurant received the highly anticipated AA Rosette Awards on Tuesday (18th February) at the RAK Ceramics Design Hub in London.
Highly sought-after and with a strict criteria judged by anonymous inspectors, 3 AA Rosettes mean expectations are high and inspectors find little room for inconsistencies.
Exact technique, flair and imagination will come through in every dish, and balance and depth of flavour are all-important.
FIFTY TWO opened in May with Adam Degg at the helm as Head Chef and Host, following his appearance on the BBCs Great British Menu.
Adam Degg said:
“I believe only 10% of restaurants/hotels within the AA Restaurant Guide have three Rosettes and above, so it’s amazing to receive this recognition, particularly in our first year of opening.
“We celebrate our first birthday in May and in the spirit of FIFTY TWO – injecting ‘fun’ into fine dining, we certainly plan to have some fun over our birthday weekend, so watch this space!”
FIFTY TWO takes its cue from ‘mother nature’ with dishes created using the highest quality ingredients cultivated in the kitchen garden or selected from trusted local producers and purveyors.
Dishes are accompanied by carefully selected wines, freshly made juices and garden-inspired cocktails.
Simon Numphud FIH, Managing Director at AA Media said:
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the latest collection of outstanding restaurants.
“From innovative tasting menus to a renewed focus on provenance and seasonality, these establishments showcase the very best of what the British food scene has to offer.
“Huge congratulations to the remarkable chefs and front-of-house teams whose dedication have earned them this well-deserved recognition.”
To celebrate, the first 52 bookings made by midnight on Friday 21st February will receive a glass of champagne.
