A Ripon bridal store has been named 'Best New Wedding Business' at The Yorkshire Wedding Awards 2025.
Gail’s Wedding Emporium won the award at a glittering ceremony in Leeds earlier this month.
The boutique, founded by owner Gail Byrne, is known for its bridal gowns, accessories and personalised fitting services.

The Yorkshire Wedding Awards celebrate standout achievements across the wedding industry, with winners selected through a combination of public votes and industry recognition.
Gail said:
"This honour truly means the world to us, and it's all thanks to you: our wonderful customers, supporters, and everyone who voted!
"Your belief in us is why we pour our hearts into making every bride’s experience magical.
"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, your trust, and for being part of our story.
"Here’s to celebrating many more unforgettable moments together."
