A group of parents, children and staff from a Ripon pre-school have raised more than £500 as part of the Nidderdale Walk.
A team from Fountains Play Group and Pre School took on the 4-mile route in Pateley Bridge yesterday (Sunday).
Around 30 people took part for the group, 17 of which were children aged 2-5.
And they’ve managed to raise £546 for the pre-school through sponsorships and donations.
Emma Terry, a parent who took part, said:
“It was such a lovely day and the children did so well!
“Huge thanks to the Rotary Club of Harrogate for creating such a fantastic way for charities to raise funds and for a truly well organised event on an absolutely beautiful route!”

The team also enjoyed a pit-stop at the Sportsman's Arms in Wath.
Emma added:
“The preschool is charity-run preschool so as parents we are always looking at different ways to raise funds for this lovely preschool.”
Fountains Playgroup and Pre-School is a registered charity and operates in a purpose built building in the village of Grantley.
