Rotary Club of Ripon is inviting participants to take part in its annual Charity Bike Ride ahead of the event's 19th year.
The event was able to raise over £14k last year - and it’s inviting entrants for the 2025 ride.
The Ripon Rotary Charity Bike Ride, run by a dedicated team and supported by British Cycling, takes in some of the very best cycling roads in the county.
It also aims to be accessible to riders of all abilities, with some participants taking on the route on an electric bike.
The 100km-route starts just outside Ripon, taking riders along the quieter roads through towns and villages like Boroughbridge, Helperby, Stillingtone, Sheriff Hutton, Sutton on the Forest and Great Ouesburn before returning to the start point in Bishop Monkton.

The aim is to support the work of a range of charities that the Bike Ride Team thinks “touch the lives of people or their loved ones.”
This year, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Saint Michael’s Hospice, and Dementia Forward have been chosen for their local and regional work.
Riders have been promised a “mountain of homemade cakes” at the finish line.
Rotary Club of Ripon President David Powling said:
“According to the feedback from our riders, cake is one of the top reasons they keep coming back to ride with us.”
Over 75 Riders are booked in to ride from Yorkshire and beyond.
The Ripon Rotary Charity Bike Ride is being held on Saturday 10th May.
