A Ripon café is preparing to welcome four-legged visitors this week as it hosts a festive-themed 'Dog Santa' event.
The Café in the Park, located in Spa Gardens, will offer bookable photo slots on Sunday (16th November) from 2pm to 5pm, giving dog owners the chance to capture a seasonal portrait of their pets.
The organisers say the early-November timing is designed to avoid the busy Christmas period, with a costumed Santa on hand to meet dogs and pose for photos.
Each booking includes a portrait download, and the event will also raise funds for Saving Yorkshire’s Dogs.
Dog owners can secure a slot by emailing cafeintheparkripon@gmail.com or by booking online through the event’s registration link.
