New research has named RHS Garden Harlow Carr as the fifth best garden in the UK to explore this Easter.
The outdoor experts at Millets analysed annual visitors, admission costs, Google reviews and opening hours to reveal the UK’s best gardens.
And Harlow Carr in Harrogate came fifth behind Cambridge University Botanic Garden, Horniman Museum and Gardens, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and Benmore Botanic Garden.
It was the only venue in Yorkshire included in the list of 10.

Harlow Carr attracts 491,000 visitors annually and has a Google review score of 4.7/5.
It’s open seven days a week for a total of 59.5 hours - all factors taken into account by Millets when conducting their research.
Sam Chadwick, Blog Author and Outdoor Enthusiast at Millets said:
“With warmer weather finally here, it’s the perfect time to explore the UK’s outdoor attractions. But with Britain’s famously unpredictable weather, packing a waterproof jacket is a must for any garden adventures.
“Pair this with waterproof walking shoes or walking boots to stay comfortable along the way.”
Sam added:
“With the Easter holidays in full swing, we’ve highlighted some of the best family-friendly events happening at the UK’s top gardens.”
RHS Garden Harlow Carr is hosting a number of egg-citing Easter activities for children over the next few days.
