Police have launched an investigation following a burglary at a farm in Kirk Deighton.
It happened overnight between 11pm on Tuesday 12th and 7am on Wednesday 13th August.
The suspects may have travelled along Wetherby Road.
A large Hyundai generator was taken along with numerous power tools which are mainly DEWALT branded, two ROTORBROACH drills and a quantity of cow feed.
It is believed a large vehicle, likely a pick up, would have been needed in order to transport these items from the scene.
A police spokesperson said:
“We are appealing for information regarding this incident and any dash cam footage that shows any suspicious vehicles, in particular a vehicle carrying a large Hyundai generator, between these times, or if anybody has any information regarding the sale of a bulk quantity of power tools.
“Please email dean.barrett@northyorkshire.police.uk if you have any information that could help our investigation.
“Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for Dean Barrett, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
