A popular family glamping festival is set to return to the countryside near Knaresborough next weekend.
Glampfest 2026 will take place from 8th to 10th May at Market Flat Lane, bringing together around 2,000 attendees for a weekend of camping, live music and outdoor activities.
The festival began in 2017 as a small gathering of around 100 “glawning” owners, but has continued to grow each year.
This year’s event will feature a mix of live acoustic performances, bands and DJs, alongside artisan food and drink, creative workshops, forest school sessions and children’s entertainment.

Organisers say new experiences and entertainment additions are planned, with further surprises to be revealed during the weekend.
Glampfest director James Martin, who recently featured on Dragons’ Den, said:
“Glampfest grew from our Glawning business and has always been about bringing people together—families, friends and the wider community—to enjoy time outdoors, great music and a real sense of connection. I was so pleased that the dragons recognised that.
"Every year it grows, but we’re proud it still feels like a weekend in a field with friends. 2026 is shaping up to be our most exciting year yet, with some surprises we can’t wait to reveal.”
The festival will also continue to support charitable causes and this year’s fundraising will be in aid of Dementia Disco - a community organisation that uses music and dance to support people living with dementia and their families.
