The Pannal School PTA hosted a ball to raise money for the school.
A fundraising ball organised by a school PTA has raised more than £7,000 at an event held in Rudding Park.
The event took place on 14th March at Rudding Park and was themed “A Night Under The Stars”.
The ball was supported by several local sponsors, including AC8 Academy, Move 360, Wild Side Studio and Yorkshire Hearing Clinic.
Entertainment on the night included hosting and a DJ set from award-winning radio presenter DJ Dixie, as well as an auction featuring a range of prizes.
The school’s headteacher, Amanda Wolfram, opened the evening with a short speech and a performance of the song “Sweet Caroline”.
Guests also took part in a quiz led by local parent Joe Cooper, which formed part of the evening’s entertainment.
Money was raised through ticket sales, donations and auction prizes.
Items included VIP tickets to see Rick Astley and treatments from The Yorkshire Aesthetics Clinic.
The money raised will go towards supporting school initiatives and resources.
