Hampsthwaite Primary School, rated 'Oustanding' by Ofsted, is opening the doors to its Nursery class tomorrow.
'Outstanding' village school near Harrogate to host Open Day tomorrow Hampsthwaite Primary School, rated 'Oustanding' by Ofsted, is welcoming visitors to its Nursery class tomorrow (Friday) for an Open Day. Affectionately known as ‘Team Pixie’, the Nursery class at Hampsthwaite Primary is located in a modern cabin building that was purpose-built in 2019. Surrounded by green space, the aim is to give children the benefit of playing and learning outdoors. The recently refurbished EYFS outdoor learning area includes a sandpit and spacious waterplay provision, an outdoor mini theatre, multiple vehicles and equipment for construction and imaginary play. Headteacher, Mrs Amy Ross said:
“We are pleased to welcome families to visit our Nursery open morning on Friday. We will be showcasing our fantastic facilities and it will be the perfect opportunity to speak to our talented teaching staff and experience the engaging and happy atmosphere. "We are delighted to meet families who live in Hampsthwaite, as well as in the surrounding villages and local Harrogate area. "We offer a flexible structure of morning and afternoon sessions or full days; enabling families to tailor a timetable that is suitable to their child and that supports the needs of each individual family.”The open morning takes place between 9.25am and 11.15am, with no registration required in advance.
