Outdoor performances of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet are coming to Harrogate and Ripon next week.
The Duke's Theatre Company will bring its open-air production to Valley Gardens in Harrogate on Thursday 23rd July before performing at Ripon Racecourse on Friday 24th July as part of the Ripon Theatre Festival.
Directed by Joseph Pitcher, the production is a fresh take on Shakespeare's famous tragedy and features original music by award-winning composer Rob Millett.
The company is known for its open-air performances at venues across the UK, with this year's tour visiting more than 50 locations.
Audiences are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or camping chairs and enjoy an evening of outdoor theatre.

The performance lasts around two hours, including a 15-minute interval, and is recommended for ages seven and above.
The Harrogate performance starts at 7pm in Valley Gardens on Thursday 23rd July.
The following evening, the company heads to Ripon Racecourse for a 7pm performance as part of this year's Ripon Theatre Festival.
Gates open 45 minutes before the show.
