JD Wetherspoon has confirmed the opening date for its new pub in Wetherby.
The pub, which will be known as The Angel Inn, is due to open on Wetherby's High Street on Tuesday 23rd December.
The company has invested £2.9 million into redeveloping the former Sant’ Angelo Italian restaurant, which has been closed since 2022.
The opening is expected to create around 60 jobs.
Aysha Reevell, Pub Manager, said:
“Myself and my team are looking forward to welcoming customers into The Angel Inn and we are confident that the pub will be a great addition to the local social scene."
The Angel Inn will be open from 8am until midnight, seven days a week.
Food will be available throughout the day, with service continuing until 11pm.
Drinks on offer will include real ales, traditional ciders, craft beers and a selection of bottled beers, including products from local and regional brewers.

Families will be able to dine at the pub, with children allowed on the premises until 9pm when accompanied by an adult.
The building will be fully wheelchair accessible and include adapted toilet facilities.
The refurbishment has retained a number of original features, such as stone fireplaces and sash windows, while introducing new interior elements designed to reflect Wetherby’s architectural heritage.
These include timber beams, flagstone-style flooring, decorative tiling and displays of historical photographs and local artwork.
A landscaped beer garden has also been created to provide outdoor seating.
