A new gym for strength and conditioning is set to open in Harrogate next month.
The Coaching Collective is a new facility offering “high level training for professional athletes, sportsmen and women, dancers and more.”
The Coaching Collective will also offer classes and personal training for the local community.
It’s set to open on Hookstone Avenue with an official launch event on Sunday 15th September, from 10am-2pm.
Director Elliot Hutchinson, who is also a professional dancer, said:
“We’re aiming to create a community of sports teams, groups, and individuals from Harrogate that leave us with a holistic knowledge on looking after their physical, mental and nutritional health for the long term.
"We’ve spent the last 3 months embracing a do-it-yourself renovation attitude to bring Harrogate an affordable, private space to train without the fear of members watching you and with confidence in some of the most experienced coaches in the area."
Elliot added:
"As well as just having a nosey and a chat, our launch day, which is open to all, we will be offering over £1,000 worth of giveaways, complimentary refreshments, cakes and pastries from our friends at Folk Coffee House and local business stalls.
"I can’t wait for Harrogate to see what we’ve been up to!"

The Coaching Collective played a role in Harrogate Town AFC’s pre-season training and currently train the club’s academy players twice per week throughout the season.
The gym also has a learning disabilities nurse and fitness instructor - Coach Jude - who runs a ‘DanceAbility’ group through them for the local learning disabled community.
