A new Your Harrogate digital screen has been launched at the Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre following its big reopening.
New digital screen launched at Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre A new Your Harrogate digital screen has been launched at the Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre following its big reopening. The centre, formerly known as 'Harrogate Hydro', reopened on Monday (4th September) after a £13.5million refurbishment. And a digital screen has been placed in the new cafe and reception area to connect local businesses with the Harrogate community. Chris Mason, Commercial Partnerships Manager at Brimhams Active, said:

"We hope our partnership will continue to grow over time to allow more opportunities to work collaboratively together."[caption id="attachment_77986" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] The digital screen is located in the reception area of the new Harrogate Leisure and Wellness centre.[/caption] Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre The £13.5million investment has seen a new 400-square metre fitness centre, a new sauna and steam suite, improved reception and café, as well an overhaul of the existing gym, spin, leisure and swimming facilities. The diving structure has also been replaced so that the facility can continue to create and nurture future Olympians who would follow in the steps of Jack Laugher and Oliver Dingley. [caption id="attachment_77917" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] The new Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre, formerly known as 'Harrogate Hydro.'[/caption] Outside, the building has been remodelled to provide a reconfigured car park, bicycle storage and electric vehicle charging points. The existing gas boilers have already been replaced with air-source heat pumps and 250 solar panels, as well as new metering and energy monitoring and control systems.
