A brand new café has opened on Cold Bath Road in Harrogate.
Park Place launched on Saturday (2nd May), offering a selection of coffee, cakes, ice cream and hot sandwiches.
The new café is open Monday to Sunday from 8am until 6pm next to Vanilli's, in the unit formerly occupied by Lighthouse.
Owner Mark Kennedy told Your Harrogate:
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive comments. People love it!
"They love the colour outside, the tables and chairs, they can get coffee, cakes, ice cream and coolers.”
The café is looking to provide something a bit different to the competition, offering customers with the supplies they need to enjoy a picnic at the nearby Valley Gardens.
Mark said:
“We’re doing picnic hampers which you can take into the Valley Gardens and enjoy, and we’ll even lend you a picnic rug!
“We’re really excited and we’ve had such encouragement from everyone and it’s been busy, which is great.
“We’re using local suppliers and offering prices that people can afford and enjoy, but without compromising on the quality.”
