Cat Protection’s boutique Cattitude shop is opening its doors in Harrogate town centre tomorrow.
New boutique charity shop set to open in Harrogate tomorrow A store promising a different kind of charity shop experience is opening its doors in Harrogate tomorrow (Friday). Cat Protection’s boutique Cattitude shop at 8 Oxford Street will begin trading on 3rd November, selling fashion and accessories, including designer labels and High Street staples. The shop will be open Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm and Sundays 10am to 4pm. Shop manager Joanna Swinburn said:
“We can’t wait to welcome customers through our doors. "So much effort has gone in to making this store stand out from other charity shops, with an impressive selection of fashion items for all ages and styles. "As well as picking up a bargain, shoppers can also feel good about shopping in a sustainable way.”As the UK’s largest feline welfare charity, Cats Protection helps an average of 157,000 cats and kittens a year through its national network which includes around 210 volunteer-run branches and 34 centres. Joanna added:
“Funds raised by the shop will help unwanted cats find new homes, so we hope local people see us as a cause worth supporting. “We’d also love to hear from anyone interested in volunteering with us. If you have a few hours to spare each week there will be plenty of roles available to gain new skills, from customer service to stock processing.”To find out about volunteering at the shop email Harrogate.shopmanager@cats.org.uk or pop in to find out more.
