Mother Shipton's Cave is set to feature on popular BBC show Countryfile next weekend.
The tourist attraction in Knaresborough welcomed presenter John Craven for filming earlier this year - and not for the first time.
John previously visited Mother Shipton’s in 2005 and left a sock to be petrified, which he was reunited with on his latest visit.
Countryfile reports on rural, agricultural, and environmental issues on BBC One and has been running since 1988.
The episode that features Mother Shipton’s Cave will be available on BBC iPlayer from Sunday 17th August.
Previewing the episode, a spokesperson for Mother Shipton's Cave said:
"The wonderful John Craven visited us earlier this year to uncover the mysteries of the petrifying well and the legend of Mother Shipton and her prophecies."
The River Nidd will also feature on the TV show following filming at Knaresborough Lido, as well as a focus on riverfly monitoring and wild swimmers.
