More than 800 people are expected to attend the funeral of PC Rosie Prior later this week.
The funeral will take place at 11am on Thursday (13th February) at York Minster.
And hundreds of people are registered to attend, made up of Rosie’s family, friends, colleagues and members of North Yorkshire Police.
The funeral will be a full ceremonial police funeral involving officers lining the final part of the route as the funeral cortege arrives at York Minster.
Rosie tragically died on Saturday 11th January in a road traffic collision, which also resulted in the death of Knaresborough man Ryan Welford.
She was hit by a heavy goods vehicle after she had pulled over to help Ryan - whilst off duty - who had been in an earlier, separate collision.
The funeral service will be live-streamed from the Minster to enable members of the public to participate here.
The service at the Minster will be followed by a private service at Thirsk crematorium.
