The river level at Westwick Lock is currently at 1.4m and is expected to peak at 1.5m this afternoon (Friday 21st May).
Consequently, flooding is expected today in the Roecliffe Caravan Park area.
And Gov.uk's 'flood warning' means that flooding is expected - and therefore immediate action is required.
Residents are being urged to plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
