Hundreds of Harrogate pupils nominate teachers for end of term treat Hundreds of Harrogate pupils have been nominating their teachers for an end of term treat delivered by Your Harrogate and Harrogate BID. We launched our ‘Treat your Teacher’ competition last week, asking pupils to nominate teachers, teaching assistants and other school staff who deserve recognition for their hard work this year. The competition is thanks to our friends at Harrogate BID and will see a £50 Harrogate gift card delivered to five nominated teachers. And the competition has already proven popular, with hundreds of nominations received for teachers across the district. One teacher from a school in Knaresborough has received more than 120 nominations alone. [caption id="attachment_32485" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] We have five Harrogate gift cards to be won by teachers, teacher assistants and school staff in the district.[/caption] The deadline for nominations is Friday 14th July and Your Harrogate will be surprising five winning teachers on the last week of term. The Harrogate gift card can be spent in more than 100 shops across the town centre. Does your teacher deserve an end of term treat for all of their hard work this year? Nominate them here for your chance to win them a Harrogate gift card. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
