Huckerby's of Harrogate are hosting a pop-up wine tasting event from 2nd-4th October at the Cedar Court Hotel.
Huckerbys of Harrogate was founded by John and Katie, with the ambition of creating something truly unique.
John has over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality sector, working at some of Harrogate's finest institutions and was the former manager of 'The Champagne Concept'; Whereas Katie's area of expertise lies in administration.
They are passionate about Champagne as a story of craft and tradition.
Each bottle represents generations of growers with the aim of bringing that story to life in a way that feels approachable, fun and fresh.
Alongside Champagne, they also plan to champion the best of English Sparkling Wine and bring notoriety to some well-deserved, talented winemakers.
Their first pop-up tasting event was an amazing success and guests had the choice of two Tasting Experiences.
The next pop-up will take place from 2nd–4th October 2025 (2-10pm) in The Tipi on The Stray at Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate.
This time, with a grand total of nine different wines to try, either by the glass or as part of their three distinct Tasting Experiences: Roger Manceaux Tasting, Rosé Tasting and our Vintage Tasting.
The Roger Manceaux flight explores one of their finest producers from Rilly-la-Montagne, in the very heart of Champagne.
The Rosé flight explores the difference between the varying methods of Rosé production.
Finally, the Vintage flight features some exclusive wines and includes their very first English Sparkling Wine.
If you wish to learn about and try all nine of the wines, you can do so as part of their Ultimate Tasting Experience.
Guests can book by contacting directly via our social media, by phone, or by email or you may just show up to the event, and they will do their best to accommodate you. Those who would like to join for the Tasting Experiences are encouraged to book ahead of time to ensure they avoid disappointment! Booking can be made here.
Huckerby's told Your Harrogate:
"Looking further ahead, the long-term vision is to open a dedicated Tasting Bar & Bottle Shop in Harrogate. We want Huckerbys to feel like an established part of the community - a place where people can relax, learn, and enjoy in a comfortable setting. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service, variety and a tailored experience for every visit. We are hoping to open our premises in April 2026, and we will of course continue our pop-up events until then."
