Harrogate’s Rachel Daly has reached a major goalscoring milestone after scoring her 50th goal for Aston Villa Women.
The 32-year-old scored her fourth goal of the season in Aston Villa’s 3-2 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend.
And it marks a half century of goals for the forward since moving to Villa from Houston Dash in the summer of 2022.
Rachel was on the scoresheet just before half time, latching onto a pass from Kirsty Hanson to put her side 2-1 ahead.
After Palace had drawn level, a late winner from Ebony Salmon sealed all three points.
The victory takes Aston Villa up to 8th in the Women’s Super League (WSL) table.

Rachel, who played for Killinghall Nomads as a youngster, finished her first season back in England as the Women’s Super League golden boot winner after scoring 22 goals.
She then went on to star for England in the World Cup, sporting the number 9 shirt and helping Sarina Wiegman’s team reach the final.
Her performances saw her shortlisted for the PFA Player of the Year award.
Earlier this year, Rachel retired from international duty, saying it had been an “honour” to represent her country.
