Harrogate Town have announced the signing of Fulham striker Olly Sanderson on loan until the end of the season.
The forward joins from the Craven Cottage club for what will be his fourth loan spell away from the club he has been with since age nine.
The 21-year-old’s most recent loan was at Bradford City over the first half of the season where Sanderson made 18 appearances for The Bantams.
Sanderson said:
“I know this is a really hard working and honest club and I’m ready to make that next step up in my career now.
“You learn so much from these loan spells, so I’m really happy to be here.”
The club’s newest arrival has also enjoyed spells out on loan at Oxford City in non-league, scoring nine in 23 National League appearances, and Sutton United in League Two.
Sanderson would put pen to paper on a new deal at Fulham at the start of the 2024/25 season before heading out on loan to Valley Parade.
Simon Weaver added:
“We’re delighted he’s chosen us for his next loan spell, he’s young, aspirational and is just the type of character we want in the building.
“He has got bags of pace, an alert brain and an awareness when it comes to attacking the box at the right time, I think there’s a goalscorer in there and he’ll really benefit from playing for us.”
Sanderson will wear the number 16 at Town and is eligible for Friday night’s clash with Cheltenham, subject to FA and EFL approval.
