Six runners have completed the Great North Run to raise money for Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation.
Community coaches Aaron Philps and Seb Henry were among those who tackled the famous 13.1-mile course, completing the event for the first time.
The pair had spent months training alongside their roles delivering football, PE and community programmes across Harrogate and the surrounding area.

They were joined by Lizzie Vangorph, Jon Vangorph, Oliver Aksoy and Rose Haigh, with all six runners successfully crossing the finish line.
The event began with a display from the Red Arrows before thousands of participants set off on the route from Newcastle to South Shields.
Seb also received a high-five from Newcastle United and England defender Dan Burn along the course.
Lizzie and Jon had previously completed the Great North Run for the Community Foundation, with this year marking Lizzie’s tenth appearance at the event.
A Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation spokesperson said:
“Collectively, our runners have already made a huge contribution to the Foundation and the thousands of people who benefit from our programmes throughout the year.
“A massive thank you to Aaron, Seb, Lizzie, Jon, Oliver and Rose for their incredible efforts, as well as everyone who supported, sponsored and encouraged them along the way.
“You should all be incredibly proud.”
Funds raised by the team will support the Foundation’s work with children, families and communities across the Harrogate district.
The final fundraising total is still being calculated and will be announced at a later date.
