Harrogate Town fan to join Jeff Stelling on football march for prostate cancer A Harrogate Town supporter and staff member will be joining Jeff Stelling on his Football March in aid of Prostate Cancer UK later this year. Aubrey Smith will join ex-Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling on his 34th Football March to raise funds for prostate cancer and this time in honour of his friend Bill Turnbull (ex-BBC Newscaster) who died of the disease at the age of 66. The march will take place on 17th September between Wembley Stadium and Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers where Bill was a devoted fan. According to Google Maps, this is a distance of around 30 miles and should take about nine hours to complete. Aubrey is looking to raise money which will help fund vital lifesaving research and support services for men and their families affected by this disease. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK during their lifetime and is the most common form of cancer in men. If you would like to support Aubrey in raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK, you can donate via his JustGiving Page. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
