Harrogate Town have confirmed the signing of Wigan midfielder Tobias Brenan on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old central midfielder started his career with Oxford United, but signed a new three year deal with Wigan in October.
Brenan first signed for the Lancashire club in Summer 2018 and quickly established himself in the club’s U21 side.
Brenan made his professional debut for Wigan on the opening day of the 2025/26 season and has gone on to start a further five times for his parent club, his last coming at the start of January.
Simon Weaver said:
“We’re delighted to bring Toby in. He’s energetic, puts himself about and is up for the challenge here.”
Brenan added:
"I just want to get out and play games, there’s still a lot of games left this season and there’s no reason we can’t get out of the position we’re in so I’ll be doing all I can to help.
“I’m ready to play, I feel fit, energetic and want to show what I’m about.”
Brenan is available for Tuesday night’s fixture against Swindon, subject to FA and EFL approval.
