A special fundraising event at Harrogate Theatre to celebrate its 125th anniversary has raised more than £10,000.
A Night at the Theatre took place on Friday (25th July) - a gala-style evening of spectacular performances and community spirit.
The event was designed to honour the theatre’s rich heritage while securing vital funds to help maintain and develop its cultural offering for future generations.
And it was able to raise a grand total of £10,577.
A spokesperson for Harrogate Theatre said:
“A huge thank you to all our brilliant community groups who took to the stage and wowed us with your talent — and to our wonderful audiences for showing up, supporting the theatre, and making the evening truly unforgettable.
“Your support helps keep the magic of live theatre alive in Harrogate and we are so grateful!”
The celebratory evening showcased a variety of acts from across the Harrogate district.

Audience members were treated to music, drama, and dance in a packed programme that celebrated the past, present, and future of the much-loved venue.
Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the theatre’s ongoing work, including education projects, outreach programmes, and the development of new productions.
