The opening of Harrogate's new Tesco store on Skipton Road has been delayed until next week.
Delays to the construction of the car park means the supermarket will now welcome customers at 8am on Tuesday 9th December.
Tesco had originally aimed to open the new Harrogate branch before the launch of Harrogate's Christmas Fayre on Friday (5th December).
But the scheme has experienced further delays.
Its opening hours will be 6am to 12am from Monday - Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

As well as a wide range of great value food and F&F clothing, the new store is providing a £1,000 grant to Resurrected Bites, a food waste charity which runs community cafes in the Harrogate area, to mark the opening.
The cutting-edge new store has created around 120 new jobs for the local community and has been built using innovative design, technology and building methods to reduce its environmental impact.
Store Manager Annabelle Speed said:
“We are extremely excited to be opening our new store and helping to serve the local community. We want to offer great value to our customers and the benefits of Tesco Clubcard and Clubcard Prices.
“We are so pleased to have got to this point where we can finally open the doors and want to thank everyone for their patience. We look forward to having a positive impact in Harrogate and serving our customers.”
Roadworks
Construction work has included widening Skipton Road, surfacing works, junction alterations and a temporary one-way system to allow for the development of the store and its access.
Works began in August and was originally planned to last around ten weeks, however progress has been subject to repeated delays and adjustments.
In addition to the existing one-way traffic arrangements on Skipton Road, there will be one final full road closure between 6:30pm and 12pm tonight (3rd December).
This closure will affect Skipton Road, Harewood Road and the roundabout with the A61.
Access to Harrogate Retail Park will still be maintained. Noisy activities will cease by 11pm.
