A number of pupils across the Harrogate area have paid tribute to Sir David Attenborough on his 100th birthday.
The veteran broadcaster and environmentalist turns 100 today (Friday 8th May).
And pupils across the area, inspired by Sir David's commitment to the environment, wildlife and conservation, have shared well-wishes on his big day.
Brackenfield School have written an original play, ‘A Life on this Planet’ - described as a ‘celebration of all that Sir David had achieved and done for our planet’.
It was created by music teacher Helen Leaf and performed by infant children aged 4-7.

Elsewhere, Harrogate Ladies College & Highfield Prep, Ashville College and Harrogate High have also sent their messages to Sir David:
Speaking on his birthday, Sir David said:
"I had rather thought that I would celebrate my 100th birthday quietly, but it seems that many of you have had other ideas.
"I have been completely overwhelmed by birthday greetings, from pre-school groups to care home residents, and countless individuals and families of all ages.
"I simply can't reply to each of you separately, but I'd like to thank you all most sincerely for your kind messages, and wish those of you who have planned your own local events: Have a very happy day."
