Harrogate fitness entrepreneur and endurance athlete Olivia Jarvis has launched a new recipe e-book after almost a decade working in the health and fitness industry.
Olivia is the founder of online wellness platform Flowness Club and has built a community of hundreds of thousands of women online.
She shares advice around training, nutrition, wellbeing and developing a healthier relationship with food and body image.
Her new e-book, 'The Glow Reset', brings together her approach to nutrition and wellness.
It focuses on whole foods, high-protein meals, gut health and energy rather than restrictive dieting or focusing on weight loss.
The launch follows almost a decade working in health and fitness, during which Olivia has experienced very different sides of the industry.
She has competed as a natural bodybuilder as well as taking part in marathons and ultra-distance races.
In April, Olivia completed an 88km ultra marathon across Botswana in Africa.
Talking to Your Harrogate, she said:
"I knew it was going to be challenging, but it took me to a new depth that I've never taken my body to.
"The Glow Reset was created on the struggle on finding recipes where you never had all the ingredients in your cupboard.
"These are 17 recipes that are super simple to make. I have such a passion for women's hormonal health and having a more whole foods approach. It shouldn't be something that's over-complicated"
Olivia said her experiences in bodybuilding and endurance sport have helped shape her approach to nutrition and training today.
She said:
“I’ve experienced first hand what happens when you ask a lot from your body.
“Training for an ultra marathon is a completely different challenge to stepping on a bodybuilding stage but both have taught me how important it is to properly fuel your body, recover well and build strength.”
Olivia said The Glow Reset also reflects how her own attitude towards health has changed over the years.
She said:
“For a long time, I was very focused on being leaner, lighter and doing everything perfectly.
“The more I’ve learned, the more I’ve realised that feeling strong, energised and healthy has to come first.
“I wanted to create something women could genuinely use in everyday life without feeling like they constantly have to be on a diet.”
Through Flowness Club, Olivia now works with women around the world, combining fitness, nutrition and wellbeing with a more holistic approach to health.
The new e-book is the latest development in the business she has built alongside her career as a full-time content creator.
