Harrogate cocktail bar Over & Above has been named in the UK's official top 50 cocktail bars list - less than a year after opening.
The venue, which launched in March 2025, is located behind a hidden bookcase entrance at 7 Cheltenham Crescent.
It is the first time a Harrogate bar has featured on the national list, which is widely regarded within the drinks industry as a benchmark for standout venues across the country.
Only a small number of Yorkshire bars have appeared in the rankings since they were established.
Over & Above was founded by Rich and Fran Hamer, who both have long careers in hospitality.
In a joint statement, the pair said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to have made the UK Top 50 Cocktail Bars list!
"This wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible team turning up every single day and giving 110%.”
Their first joint venture spans two floors and focuses on delivering drinks and service that aim to go “over and above” standard expectations.
