A Harrogate care home is set to reopen under new ownership and following a full refurbishment.
Sapphire Court is part of the Cold Bath road community in Harrogate, a vibrant collection of restaurants, shops and bars.
The building was previously used as a care home, but has remained unused for some years.
Significant investment was made from the Sunlight Health Care and the care home is now due to open at the end of June.

There will be a formal opening from the Mayor of Harrogate, Councillor Chris Aldred.
Sapphire Court care home will provide short and longer-term residential care.
They took on the empty building and have invested with a full refurbishment of each room, and all the communal areas.
Vijay Guntuka, director of Sunlight Health Care, said:
"This is an important opening for us and is part of the bigger strategic development for the group.
“We have taken a fairly run-down building, but in good location, and put investment into it, to make, what is now, a very comfortable residential home.
“Harrogate has a growing demand for the older generation, and this will provide a good addition to the town.”

It is one of the smaller care homes in the town, with 23 bedrooms in a building set over 3 floors.
Vijay added:
"It has taken some time to get the building where we need to be, but we are really pleased with how Sapphire Court is now looking.
“Each room has been fully refurbished and the communal areas are looking really good too.
“We aim to make each room a blank canvas so that they can be personalised by each of our residents.
“A care home is of course much more than a building. Having a good food offering is an import part of looking after our residents.
“We have been placing a lot of attention to our menus, along with pulling a great catering team together - the menus that have traditional favourites, but plenty of options.”
He continued:
“Having activities to do each day is also important, and we will be offering a range of things, like film club, gardening club or baking.
“Our philosophy is that it is firstly an individuals home, and it is up to them if they join in, or use the communal area, or just take time in their rooms.
“The team and myself are really excited to welcome our first residents.”
