A whopping 35 businesses in the Harrogate area have been named as finalists in the 2026 Muddy Stilettos Awards.
The annual awards celebrate independent lifestyle and service-based enterprises across Yorkshire.
And the shortlist, announced following a public nomination stage, highlights a range of local venues spanning hospitality, retail, wellness and family services.
Organisers say this year’s awards are bigger than ever, with more finalists included in each category.
This year's finalists from Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough and Wetherby and their categories are as follows:

- Best Beauty Salon / Clinic: The Treatment Rooms (Harrogate), The Intimate Studio (Wetherby)
- Best Boutique Stay: Timble Inn (Harrogate)
- Best Café: Crema Coffee (Harrogate)
- Best Children’s Business: Milk & Honey (Harrogate)
- Best Family Experience: Mother Shipton's Cave (Knaresborough)
- Best Farm Shop / Deli: Weetons Food Hall (Harrogate)
- Best Fashion & Interiors: Barkworth Reeve (Harrogate); Luce and Bear (Harrogate); Seddon and Davison (Harrogate), The GreenHouse (Ripon)
- Best Florist: Bud Floral Designs (Ripon); Cains of Harrogate (Harrogate), The Rainflorist (Wetherby)
- Best Hair Salon: BeBaBo (Harrogate); Joseph Ferraro (Harrogate), Green & Co (Ripon)
- Best-Loved Pub: The Nelson Inn (Harrogate), The Grantley Arms (Ripon), The Portly Pig (Ripon)
- Best Sport / Fitness Instructor: Rachel Woolford, North Studio (Harrogate), Hayley Anderson (Ripon)
- Best Wellbeing Specialist: Caroline Wooley Coaching (Harrogate), Grace Knill, Flow Wild (Ripon), Mandy Nunn, Calm Aura (Ripon), Dr Lubna Khan-Salim, Bloom Longevity Labs (Ripon)
- Best Wellness Break: The Acorn Wellness Retreat (Harrogate); Rudding Park (Harrogate)
- Best Yoga/Pilates Studio: Exhale, Jion Studios (Ripon)
Ahead of the Regional Finals, members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite shortlisted businesses.
Voting is set to close on 26 May 2026 at 1pm, after which winners for each category will be announced.

The Muddy Stilettos Awards are known for focusing on independent businesses, particularly those that play a key role in local high streets and neighbourhood economies.
