Harrogate business nominated for prestigious national award A Harrogate business services provider has been nominated for a prestigious national award. Supplies Web has been shortlisted for Dealer Excellence at the Boss Awards 2023. The BOSS Awards recognise and celebrate those in the UK business supplies industry who demonstrate excellence, either individually or through the success of their business. And Supplies Web will be hoping to take home an award at the ceremony in Manchester next Thursday (30th November). Paul Graves, Director at Supplies Web, told Your Harrogate:
“We are delighted to have been nominated for Dealer Excellence. “The BOSS Awards are the biggest awards night in the calendar - like the BAFTA’s of our industry!”Supplies Web was formed in 2009 with the intention of providing “the best elements of a local company married to the skills and expertise you get in larger corporate businesses.” They offer a B2B procurement solution, helping local businesses save money, reduce the number of active suppliers, by consolidating products and services, whilst procuring more sustainably. Speaking about the Boss Awards 2023, Amy Hutchinson, CEO of BOSS Federation, said:
“We were blown away by the number of entries received this year and thank all those who took the time to nominate others too. “Our judges this year have commented on the calibre of entries in many categories so it’s a massive congratulations to all those shortlisted!”Supplies Web have challenged themselves to donate one tonne of food, to local food banks. They have currently collated a whopping 400kg of donations, supported by Harrogate estate agent Verity Frearson. They’re aiming to collate the food for Harrogate District Foodbank and “One Can Trust” in High Wycombe. Paul Graves said:
“As the cost-of-living crisis is increasing poverty rates, we wanted to take meaningful action. “That’s why we launched our campaign to collect 1 tonne of food for our local foodbanks. We believe that nobody should have to face going hungry.”[caption id="attachment_89027" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] Supplies Web have teamed up with Verity Frearson Estate Agents.[/caption] Paul added:
“Many of our valued customers are working in partnership with us to help achieve our goal. “When we deliver products to our customers, we collect any donations and take them back to our depots to be weighed and logged before being transported to the local foodbank.”Find out more about Supplies Web and their 1-tonne food banks campaign here.
