Harrogate BID has hailed another successful Dog Show, as crowds gathered to enjoy a day full of canine fun at the weekend.
The event, held on the Piazza area of the Victoria Shopping Centre on Saturday, proved popular once again with residents and visitors, with many praising the atmosphere and entertainment on offer throughout the day.
Despite a rainy start to the morning, the weather improved as the day went on, with sunshine making a welcome appearance and helping to create a vibrant and lively setting for the much-loved annual event.

Jason Maxwell, Harrogate BID’s Chief Executive, said:
“We were thrilled to deliver another fantastic Harrogate Dog Show and to see so many people come into the town centre to be part of it.
“Even with a bit of rain early on, the turnout was incredible, and the atmosphere throughout the day was brilliant. Events like this are all about bringing people together, supporting our local businesses, and creating memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.
“A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part, attended, and supported the event, as well as our BID members who generously sponsored each of the categories.”
Roaming entertainment once again added to the day’s atmosphere, with performers interacting with the crowds and participants, while the Piazza provided the perfect backdrop for a full day of activity and celebration.
The Harrogate Dog Show continues to grow year on year and remains one of the BID’s most popular events, contributing to increased footfall and a boost for the town centre economy.
The BID team is now looking ahead to a busy calendar of events across the coming months, continuing to support businesses and bring vibrancy to Harrogate town centre.
