Harrogate's Beer Week is returning next month for a town-wide celebration of craft beer, brewing heritage and beer in the community.

Harrogate's Beer Week is returning next month for a town-wide celebration of craft beer, brewing heritage and beer in the community.

The third ever Harrogate Beer Week will take place from 18th until 24th September, presenting events and other beer-themed opportunities put together by the town’s local beer people and businesses.

The first ever Harrogate Beer Week took place in 2021 with 37 events over 7 days across 13 venues, showcasing five local breweries and with special guests, including leading beer writers, journalists and sommeliers.

The founder of Harrogate Beer Week is Rachel Auty, a Harrogate-based beer lover who also works as Head of Marketing at Brew York.

She said:

"I believe there’s little better in life than going to the pub - with family, friends, or even just with like minded strangers you happen to meet there or just share the space with - especially when the chips are down.

"Times continue to be tricky for most of us, and thanks to a very small group of local organisers Harrogate Beer Week can once again aim to bring a little bit of joy by pulling our community together and supporting our independent businesses - the lifeblood of our local economy."

Harrogate Beer Week invites pubs, breweries, artists, musicians, cafes and restaurants to celebrate all things beer. A programme of special events and initiatives hosted by bars, brewery taps, and eateries across Harrogate will be revealed in due course.
