A number of spooky goings-on are coming to Harrogate during October half term.
Harrogate BID has revealed it will be launching a Halloween trail around Harrogate town centre, sponsored by the Crown Hotel.
The trail will run from Saturday 25th October to Saturday 1st November, alongside a pop-up Halloween activation held at the Crown Hotel, where the trail will start and finish and participants can collect their prize.
The pop-up will turn the area into a ‘Halloween haven’ in the town centre, featuring pumpkins, hay bales and picket fencing, as well as some spooky photo opportunities.
There will also be crafts and Halloween themed drinks and snacks available for all ages.
Harrogate BID’s scary street entertainment will also be returning on 31st October and 1st November for a series of mysterious performances.

“We are really excited to be hosting a trail over the half-term to celebrate Halloween and getting local businesses involved.”
“We are really pleased to be able to bring free events like this to the town for families, following the success of the Lego Trail in the Summer, we hope this will be a big hit over the half-term.”
“The trail will be spread throughout the town centre, in a hope to move participants around the town and visit local businesses on their way.
“Participants can collect their trail sheet from the Crown Hotel and return it to claim their prize after they have found each letter at each location to find the secret phrase, just look out for the scary window stickers!”
She added:
“I would like to thank the Crown Hotel for getting involved and sponsoring the initiative, it is will be a great week of spooky Halloween fun!”
