A popular gastropub between Ripon and Harrogate has been listed for sale at £1.39million.
The Sawley Arms, which dates back to the 17th century, has been brought to market by property consultancy Christie & Co.
The venue has undergone extensive refurbishment in recent years and is just a short drive from attractions such as Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks and the Yorkshire Dales.
It has seven en suite letting bedrooms with a bunk house, and can seat 60 covers in its restaurant.
It also has a series of lounges and dining areas, including a small snug with relaxed seating and a private function room.
The Sawley Arms site has a large beer garden with seating for more than 100 people and a summerhouse.
Regional director at Christie & Co, David Cash, who is managing the sale, said:
"The Sawley Arms is a superb example of an immaculately presented, hugely well-invested pub-restaurant with rooms.
“Its proximity to local tourist attractions and other hospitality venues means the business boasts consistently high occupancy levels.
"We expect interest from local/regional multi-site operators with other similar venues, potentially national pub companies, or even a local, high net worth individual/family who may wish to acquire The Sawley Arms as a trophy asset."
The Sawley Arms package is being marketed with an asking price of £1,390,000 for the freehold.
The village of Sawley lies approximately six miles to the south west of Ripon, nine miles north of Harrogate, with York about 30 miles to the south east. Leeds Bradford Airport is a 25-minute drive away.
