Free packed lunches are back on the menu at a Starbeck café this half term.
The Joyful Brew, based at the rear of Starbeck Methodist Church, is giving free packed lunches to families in need on Thursday 28th May.
It's part of the community-minded café's Packed Lunch Project.
Staff have asked people planning to collect a packed lunch to sign up in advance via an online form so volunteers can prepare the right amount of food.

The scheme is free to access and open to all.
Sarah Khanye, Manager at The Joyful Brew, said:
“If you have never heard of packed lunch project before, sign up to get a free packed lunch to support you through the half term.
“Things are getting more and more expensive and if we can help for just one meal covered for all in your household, then let us help you out a little.
“Just sign up and don't forgot to make sure you are included - this isn't just for the kids, it's for the whole family and beyond!”
The Joyful Brew is staffed entirely by volunteers, offering opportunities for community involvement and connection.
Its normal opening hours are Tuesday from 9am to 4pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm, and Friday from 9am to 2pm.
