Former Rudding Park hotel manager starts new role at Grantley Hall

Luxury Ripon hotel Grantley Hall has appointed former Rudding Park hotel manager Nuno César de Sá as General Manager.

Former Rudding Park hotel manager starts new role at Grantley Hall Luxury Ripon hotel Grantley Hall has appointed former Rudding Park Hotel Manager Nuno César de Sá as its new General Manager. With 28 years of industry experience, Nuno has worked across a variety of four and five-star prestigious properties both in the UK and internationally including the Mandarin Oriental group. Grantley Hall’s former General Manager, Andrew McPherson, announced he was to step down from the position in May, after six years in the role. On his appointment, Nuno César de Sá, said:

“I am honoured to become part of the Grantley Hall family. I have been fascinated by what has been achieved at Grantley Hall over the last six years. "Now that I have been appointed as General Manager, it is incredible that I will become an integral part of its future."

Richard Sykes, Managing Director at Grantley Hall, said:

As a family-owned business, we understand that our people are the most important element of the hotel as they implement the magic of Grantley Hall to our guests and as Nuno shares many of the Grantley values, we know that he will be a perfect fit. “We will always be grateful to Andrew McPherson, our previous General Manager, for helping us to bring our vision of Grantley Hall to life from the build stage, but now it is time for the next step in our exciting journey in becoming an iconic British hotel.”

Opening its doors in 2019, after a multi-million-pound four-year restoration project, today Grantley Hall boasts 47 bedrooms, five indulgent restaurants, including Michelin-starred Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall, along with three stunning bars and an award-winning spa.
