Knaresborough residents got a first glimpse of Rebel Wilson last night (Tuesday) as filming in the town continues.
The Australian actress and comedian was spotted on Castlegate, filming scenes for upcoming Christmas film 'Tinsel Town' alongside Danny Dyer.
Danny was seen driving a BMW before interacting with his co-star.
He later stopped to pose for photos with residents who had turned out in their numbers, despite the soggy weather.
A spokesperson for Knaresborough Chamber said:
“We believe at Knaresborough Chamber this is going to be a great way to put Knaresborough in the spotlight.
“We have some amazing independent shops on Castlegate and Green dragon Yard that we are pleased to to say will be shown in their true appearance.
“Sometimes film sets cover up shop fronts and change the names of the businesses.
“We are so happy to see that the businesses will be seen even if it’s just a glimpse as we see them in real life."

Among the local businesses, which were not covered up for filming, were Kelly Teggin Hairdressing, Tommy's Barber Shop, The Yorkshire Beeswax Candle Co and Flamingo's Cafe.
A spokesperson for Knaresborough Business Collective said:
"It was an absolutely amazing atmosphere behind the scenes of the new Christmas film being made in Knaresborough, even in the rain, and Danny Dyer entertaining the soggy fans!"
The film is being produced by Future Artists Entertainment and is expected to release on Sky later this year.
It stars Kiefer Sutherland as Brad, a Hollywood action movie star who unexpectedly finds himself performing in the pantomime in the fictional town of Stanford.
