Commercial Street to host family charity day tomorrow Independent shops on Harrogate’s Commercial Street are teaming up for a Family Charity Day this weekend. The event is being held between 2pm and 4pm tomorrow (Saturday 17th June). The “June Jamboree” is aiming to raise money for two local charities and will include face painting at Wave Aquariums, a BBQ at Lilly’s Cafe and cheesy treats from The Cheeseboard. There’s also set to be live entertainers, a tombola and a “mega raffle” with a Samsung Jet 75 Cordless Stick Vacuum up for grabs, donated by Crampton & Moore. https://www.facebook.com/CommercialStreetharrogate/posts/pfbid02hnzCeaTrgHP5NCxHi3BN7N1XotxXDxZVCJ17mBa6WwBNeTSZjuPgrtnnrhRUR9hCl All proceeds will be split between Harrogate Hospital Radio - who are looking to fund a children’s entertainer on the Children’s Ward on Christmas Day - and Supporting Older People. We at Your Harrogate will also be broadcasting from Commercial Street between 10am and 1pm. Tune in on DAB, online, on your smart speaker and on our free app. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
