A group of footballers from Boroughbridge Ladies FC are taking on the National Three Peaks for a local charity.
Boroughbridge footballers to scale Three Peaks for community charity A group of footballers from Boroughbridge are taking on the National Three Peaks for charity. Players from Boroughbridge Ladies FC will be scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell pike and Snowdon - all within 24 hours. They’re taking on the challenge on 19th July to fundraise for Boroughbridge Community Charity (BCC). Claire Wills, who plays for the club and will be taking on the challenge, said:
“Boroughbridge Community Charity (BCC) do amazing work in our community and we would love to raise lots for them. “We love being part of such a brilliant community and we also love a challenge!”Boroughbridge Community Charity supports residents and communities in Boroughbridge and its 32 surrounding villages, prioritising support for those in most need. The charity aims to be known as the “go-to” organisation for Boroughbridge and District residents with unmet needs and issues.
